FUN FACT: Your pest problems put into perspective

It’s getting cold out, and your toasty apartment is looking extra-cozy to pests like the American cockroach. Growing up to 1.5 inches long, the American cockroach will eat pretty much anything, from bookbindings, glue and leather to the eyelashes, dead skin, and fingernails of humans. Definitely disgusting, but the American cockroach is nothing compared to the Australian “giant burrowing cockroach,” a monstrosity reaching up to four inches long, and weighing the same as a AA battery.
